We learned that olives were a big part of Ancient Greek life—and our 2nd graders definitely have BIG opinions about them!

🚌If you have a student that rides the bus, check your email for an invitation to use Stopfinder.  Stopfinder is an app that you can use to track your student's bus location and even setup up phone alerts to let you know when they are near home or the school.🚌

Turning screen time into real computer science skills in technology class! Students are using Osmo Coding Duo to code Awbie and Mo to complete challenges to rescue the hoppets! The characters interact with the levels differently; for instance, Awbie can jump over obstacles and gaps, while Mo can create bridges or block hazards. Don't worry hoppets; students are coding Awbie and Mo to the rescue!

Math time just got an upgrade! Our first graders are diving deep into numbers using Osmo on the iPad in technology class. Every time they pop numbered bubbles with correct answers, they earn colorful fish and coral to build their very own virtual aquariums. Learning math has never been this swimmingly fun!

🎮✨ Designing the Next Big Game!
Our fourth graders are stepping into the shoes of video game designers! Using Bloxels, they spent today bringing their original game concepts to life—designing hero characters, sneaky enemies, power-ups, and collectible coins. 🦸‍♂️👾💥🪙
Next week, the real fun begins as they build interactive levels for their characters to conquer!
We can’t wait to see what these young designers create! 🎮✨

📚✨ Tall Tales, Fairy Tales & Flapjacks! 🥞
Our 2nd graders brought tall tales and fairy tales to life today! From Paul Bunyan to Cinderella, their creativity was on full display—and the costumes were AMAZING!

Last week, the elementary ambassadors were honored with a luncheon for all their hard work this year! These students have gone above and beyond to make other students feel comfortable and welcomed and have shown kindness throughout the year. We will miss them so much next year, but are so excited to see their leadership skills continue to grow in the years to come!
