This is my third year at Red Lick Elementary. I am very passionate about being the RTI (Response to Intervention Teacher) for the K-4 kiddos.
This will be my 17th year teaching. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 5th Grade in the classroom and since becoming a RTI Teacher, I have worked with all grade levels, K-5th.
I have three beautiful daughters, Ashton (27), Laney (17), Vivian (6), and a son-in-law, Bo. I also have two grandchildren, Waylon (1 year) and Winnie (newborn). My husband, Mark and I have been together for almost 11 years and married for 7.
We enjoy going to our family cabin at Little River, spending time with friends and I enjoy cooking and reading.
My passion is helping kids realize their strengths and helping them believe in themselves and academic achievement. Sometimes kids struggle a little bit with understanding concepts and that is where I come in and help then in small group and intensive interventions to deepen that understanding and close those gaps.
I am thankful and very blessed to have the opportunity to work at such an outstanding school district such as Red Lick. My youngest daughter, Vivian is a 1st grader here at school with me and just loves being a part of the Mustang family!
